Dr. Steven Milman - Periodontal Specialist

Dr. Steven Milman has been a dentist since 1984 and a periodontal specialist since 1986. He was awarded a National Merit Scholarship, and the New York Times award for outstanding high school journalism which attending Shaker Heights High School. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from M.I.T. in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he studied life science and toxicology.

Dr. Milman completed his Bachelor of Science in three years. During his fourth year at M.I.T. he was a graduate student, teaching assistant and lab research assistant. He attended Baylor College of Dentistry for his dental school training. Upon graduation he achieved the Quintessence Award for outstanding academic achievement.

His periodontal studies and certification are from the University of Texas Health Science Center. His dental school was recently named "best in the world" by U.S. News and World Report.

On a personal note, Dr. Milman has been married to Terry since 1982 and they have two sons, Brian and Eric. You will have a chance to meet Terry, because she works in the front office. Brian is a sophomore at University of Texas working toward his Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering. Eric is a freshman at University of Indiana in Bloomington at the Kelley School of Business. Dr. Milman has two other "children", too: Roxy (Lab mix age 5) and BB (cockatiel age 7).
