Proud to be LANAP® Certified
LASER-BASED GUM DISEASE TREATMENT

Periolase Technology

Round Rock Periodontics’s Dr. Arastu is proud to be certified in a unique laser-based gum disease treatment, the LANAP® protocol. Over 50% of American adults have gum disease, which is linked to several health problems, but only a small percentage of these adults get the treatment they need.

The LANAP protocol uses a special dental laser, the PerioLase® MVP-7™. A tiny fiber is inserted between the gum tissue and teeth, where it targets and destroys bacteria deep within the pockets of the gums without affecting healthy tissue. The PerioLase MVP-7 assists Dr. Arastu with laser gum depigmentation, gum whitening, gum bleaching, and more!

The LANAP protocol uses the PerioLase MVP-7 dental laser to regenerate the tissues and bone lost to gum disease. LANAP treatment is minimally invasive, without the need for cutting or sutures. Dr. Arastu has completed intensive training required to become certified in the LANAP technique.

The LAPIP protocol treats infections around dental implants using the PerioLase MVP-7 dental laser to destroy periodontal pathogens causing the inflammation. LAPIP treatment is minimally invasive, without the need for cutting or sutures and gives hope for hopeless implants.
