Round Rock Periodontics’s Dr. Arastu is proud to be certified in a unique laser-based gum disease treatment, the LANAP® protocol. Over 50% of American adults have gum disease, which is linked to several health problems, but only a small percentage of these adults get the treatment they need.
The LANAP protocol uses a special dental laser, the PerioLase® MVP-7™. A tiny fiber is inserted between the gum tissue and teeth, where it targets and destroys bacteria deep within the pockets of the gums without affecting healthy tissue. The PerioLase MVP-7 assists Dr. Arastu with effective gum tissue restoration and surgical periodontal disease treatment.
